The Person Behind It
At 15, Andrew discovered his grandfather's bass guitar in a cupboard — and never looked back. Self-taught until university, he auditioned his way onto a Bachelor's Degree in Music with no formal examination history.
A few years later, he was a bass lecturer at that same university. He has since earned a Master's Degree in Music Technology and spent over two decades performing, recording, and teaching across South Africa.
The Bass Architect is the culmination of everything — bringing together teaching, performance, mentoring, and music technology under one roof, to serve students, schools, and working musicians.
